2012 Most Anticipated Films
2011 has been good, but 2012 looks like it could be even better (I better not jinx it). New entries into beloved franchises, exciting works from auteur directors, and Ryan Gosling! Sounds like a fantastic mix to me.

Tintin in 3D on Christmas Night! What a fun treat indeed.
First all I have to say that I think the 3D is not necessary to enjoy this film. The 3D fee + the eye strain doesn’t make the few scenes where the 3D really pops worth it in my opinion.
Once you get past how creepy the animation of the people is, it is pretty damn spectacular.
The film is worth seeing for a few amazing set...

Below are my favourite films of 2011. Plenty of the films which were released this year in the USA, have not [yet] or will not be released in cinemas in Australia/New Zealand. If I haven’t seen it, I can’t put it on my list.

Best New TV 2011
In order, here are my favourite new TV shows of 2011.
1. Boss (STARZ)
The darkest drama on TV. A look behind the dirty world of politics which could easily cause you to lose all faith in public servants and humanity. Kelsey Grammer like you’ve never seen before; absolutely mind-blowing. A 10 episode 2nd season will air sometime in 2012.

2011 Film Disappointments
2011 has been a fantastic year for film; and yet amongst the great films were a bunch of stinkers. Stinkers are fine, there will always be bad films. What I find worse than bad films are those films you had such high hopes for that just fell flat.

Oh seriously what was this film? I was so bored. Boring boring boring. No real story, no real action and a complete waste of the acting talent. The saving grace was Daniel Craig’s hotness. The film would have been a heap better if he’d just stood there and looked broody for 90mins.
