Bone Church

I was lucky enough to come into the possession of the self-titled EP from Wellington’s Bone Church.
If you like your beats with a bit of grime and your dance with a dash of dirty electronic crunk, then this is the EP for you.
I can’t get enough of track #4 ‘Your Touch’. I better hear this played somewhere I can dance to it soon.

Snow in Cuba Street (Central Wellington) August 15 2011.
This is what happens when it snows somewhere that it basically never snows. I love the smiles and looks of amazement people’s faces. Lovely video.

Snow in Wellington Central - August 15 2011.
This is the view from my balcony!! Depending on which senior citizen you talk to, this is the biggest snowfall in the city in 30-50 years.
New Zealand International Film Festival
Programmes are out now in the usual spots around Wellytown for the festival which runs July 29-August 11.
In my usual fashion I have already destroyed my programme with comments and scribbles (see photo for evidence).
The next step is to watch all the trailers so I can whittle the list down to something between 10-17ish films. Thankfully the amazing team at Flicks.co.nz have put together a NZFF Trailers Special!
Bliss!! I think I’ll just go have a film nerdgasim now.

Cuba Street Umbrella
The oversized umbrella was finally relocated (it’s been gone a while).
It has moved a little further up Cuba Street, and is now outside Glassons by Dixon Street.
